Even with the pandemic still in full swing, we embarked on a family vacation to the west coast of Mexico for the Christmas holidays. When we decided on this vacation, the pandemic was sort of getting in control, people getting vaccinated (some with hesitation). But, the omicron variant was coming upon us everywhere. We, continued to go on vacation, with my family (and soon to be fiancé and his son). This picture was the door to the villa that was our home away from home. As soon as that door opened, our jaws dropped, like I can live with this. . . AHHHHH . . . ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL (the pictures are great but don’t do justice for the in person feel and energy. Despite the high air fare we endured coming down here (oops, we made have procrastinated on getting flights early, our own fault, but at least we flew in comfort .. first class for most of flight down).
Walking through these doors at Jardin del Mar, (outside Bucerias) was ALL worth it! And what a fabulous week we had! Which ended with a perfect proposal just after countdown to midnight with fireworks all around the ocean. My amazing boyfriend, partner for rest of my life, got down on one knee and proposed! Of course, I had happy tears and glowing shaking my head YES YES YES!!! Of course, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, someone who treats me so amazing, and I am so comfortable with . . . just being myself! LIFE IS SO GOOD!
I have been on cloud nine since the first date with him!
